Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

Plume is made by Geddes Ventures LLC, a small company in California. The short version: your kids' art stays on your phone. We don't have a server for it, we can't see it, and we don't sell anything about you.

1. What stays on your phone

This information is stored only on your device. We never receive it.

2. Your Photos library

If you allow it, Plume saves a copy of each scan to an album called Plume in your Photos app. Those copies are handled by Apple and back up through iCloud Photos if you use it. Plume asks for permission before it saves anything to Photos.

3. The camera

Plume uses your camera only while you're scanning. Images go straight into the app on your phone.

4. Art books

When you make a book, Plume builds the PDF on your phone. Where it goes next is up to you: Mail, Messages, Files, or a print service you choose. Any service you send it to has its own privacy policy.

5. Purchases

Plume has nothing to buy right now, so no payment or purchase data is collected. If that changes, we'll update this page before it does.

6. Children's privacy

Plume is used by parents and guardians. Children don't create accounts and don't need to use the app. We don't collect personal information from children, and the information you enter about your kids (first names and their art) never leaves your device through us.

7. Analytics and ads

Plume has no ads and no third-party tracking. We don't sell or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

8. Deleting your data

Delete a drawing inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything Plume stored on your phone. Copies saved to your Photos stay in Photos until you delete them there.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will also be noted in the app.
